Esther Afia Okai is a Ghanaian-born Gospel singer based in the United States. She was born inAgona-Wiamoase, Ghana. Esther was raised in a Christian home and grew up singing in her church choir. Her love for music led her to pursue a career in music, and she began performing at local events and concerts in Ghana.

In 1996, Esther moved to the United States to further her music career. During her time in North Carolina, she continued to perform at local events and churches, gaining a following for her powerful and soulful voice. In 2021, Esther released her debut album, "Nyame Otease," which received critical acclaim and cemented her place in the Gospel music scene. The album features a mix of contemporary and traditional gospel songs, showcasing Esther's versatility as a singer.
